I can't believe how long it's been since I last wrote here! I honestly thought that the next month's post would be to say that I had succeeded in publishing the print-on-demand version - which I'm only almost ready to do now on Lulu. Sorry to be so tardy!
Anyway I wanted to get back to posting here again and I realised I had a nice little anecdote to tell you. I recently went to have a reading with a medium where Mum came through (as I knew either she or Dad would). During the reading the medium told me that Mum was coming around and leaving little wafts of perfume in the air near me. Not only that, she was specific in that she said it was Nina Ricci's L'Air Du Temps. And, sure enough, after that I started to notice the wafts, which was lovely as I then knew who was producing them - and it's a gorgeous scent (at least that older version is).
At the time of the reading I didn't think there was any relevancy to this particular scent as Mum rarely wore perfume. Then I remembered that I'd bought some of that perfume for myself once and, not having worn it much, I put it into a bin a year or two later, thinking that it had probably gone off. Then, later, I saw that Mum must have fished it out as I saw it on her dressing table! So in fact there was a connection after all!
